Senxin Aleste coming to PS5, PS4, and Switch in March 2027

The console release serves as a comprehensive port of the arcade hit that debuted on July 15, 2021, via SEGA's “AL.Net P-ras MULTI Version 3 (APM3).” The package features two distinct modes: Senxin Aleste ORIGIN, a faithful port of the arcade experience enhanced with M2 Gadgets and the original Wallpaper Mode, and a brand-new mode called Senxin Aleste BLADE. The latter promises faster-paced action, character switching, and a powerful new weapon known as the Blade Missile.

In addition to these modes, players will have access to a Training Mode to practice specific stages and ship types. The soundtrack is also being expanded; alongside the original compositions by Hirokazu Koshio, the game will include new tracks for the BLADE mode composed by Sakuoki Kudo and chibi-tech, as well as various arranged tracks. The game will also feature fully voiced opening and ending sequences featuring Hana Takeda.

Regarding availability, the PlayStation 4 version will be a digital-only release. In Japan, the game will be available in several formats: a physical standard edition for 7,480 yen, a digital standard edition for 4,950 yen, and a physical limited edition priced at 11,880 yen.
