Rumor: Jackies to Join Team Heretics Ahead of LEC 2027 Season
According to reports from Sheep Esports, mid laner Adam "Jackies" Jerabek may leave GIANTX to join Team Heretics ahead of the LEC 2027 season. Sources indicate that both organizations have already reached a verbal agreement regarding the transfer.
With Jackies' contract with GIANTX set to expire at the end of 2026, he is expected to replace Tolga "Serin" Olmez in the Heretics lineup. This would mark the first team change for the player since his LEC debut in 2024. Although GIANTX sought to extend his stay as a core member, the mid laner reportedly chose Heretics' new project for the 2027 season.
The move comes as Team Heretics looks to rebuild following their failure to qualify for the LEC 2026 Summer playoffs. This is expected to be the club's first roster change of the offseason. For Jackies, the transition follows a successful period with GIANTX, where he earned the Rookie of the Year award in 2024 and secured two fourth-place finishes in 2026, during the LEC Versus and the Spring Split.
