Razer Unveils Huntsman V3 Pro Low-profile Tenkeyless 8KHz: First Low-Profile Analog Optical Esports Keyboard
Razer has unveiled the Huntsman V3 Pro Low-profile Tenkeyless 8KHz, the world’s first low-profile analog optical esports keyboard. It combines flagship-level performance with an ultra-slim form factor for all-day comfort.
Razer has officially introduced the Huntsman V3 Pro Low-profile Tenkeyless 8KHz, marking a significant milestone in gaming peripherals. This device is the world’s first low-profile analog optical esports keyboard, engineered to deliver the speed and precision of Razer’s flagship technologies within an ultra-slim chassis designed for extended comfort.
Core Technology
The keyboard is powered by new Razer Low-profile Analog Optical Switches, which bring the esports-grade capabilities of Razer’s flagship analog optical platform into a slimmer design. These switches support adjustable actuation points ranging from 0.1 mm to 2.8 mm, allowing players to tailor key sensitivity to their preferred playstyle.

Central to its performance is Rapid Trigger Mode, which resets keys instantly based on movement rather than a fixed reset point. This enables faster repeated inputs and greater control during high-intensity gameplay. The design also features a reduced total key travel of 2.8 mm, helping to minimize finger movement and enable quicker reactions.
Latency and Performance
Equipped with True 8000 Hz HyperPolling, the keyboard ensures exceptionally fast communication between the device and the system for near-zero latency. In testing with all keyboards set to 0.1 mm actuation, the Huntsman V3 Pro Low-profile Tenkeyless 8KHz achieved an average latency of 0.39 ms, representing a 52% advantage over the nearest competing keyboard tested.

Advanced Input Control
The device incorporates Advanced Input Control, previously introduced with the Huntsman V3 HE Magnetic 8KHz line. Key features include:

Razer Snap Flex: Assigns two actions to a single key—one on press and another on release.
Dynamic Keystroke: Maps up to four actions to a single keystroke based on actuation depth.
Instant Cancel Control: Allows players to instantly cancel unwanted follow-up actions when the situation changes.
Dual-Keypress Priority: Protects intended movement inputs from accidental keypresses, ensuring consistent control during intense gameplay.
Ergonomics and Comfort
With a front height of just 19.5 mm, the keyboard promotes a more natural wrist position and reduces finger movement during extended gaming sessions. The switches are lubricated and paired with thick internal foam dampening to deliver a smoother, more refined typing experience while maintaining the responsiveness expected from an esports-focused keyboard.
Players can carry their preferred settings through onboard profile storage and quick adjustments. Additionally, Razer Synapse Web support allows for fast, installation-free access to personalized configurations from virtually any PC, driven by player feedback.
