Ubisoft releases hotfix for Rainbow Six Siege
Ubisoft has deployed a comprehensive hotfix for Rainbow Six Siege across all platforms to address critical technical instability and restore previously removed content.
The update primarily targets persistent crash issues, specifically resolving a bug where the operator Doc would fail to reload correctly. Developers also fixed a cache refresh loop that caused performance hiccups and eliminated a glitch displaying a black screen instead of the post-match MVP scene.
Several other equipment-related crashes were patched, including interactions between Blackbeard's shield and Noor's Horus Lance ability, as well as freezes triggered by specific headgear items during loading sequences.
Beyond stability improvements, the patch reintroduced several bundles that had been temporarily unavailable. These include the Zero: Third Echelon bundle for the operator Zero, and new variants for Jackal such as Underwater Predator and Underwater Predator 24. Additionally, Sledge received a suite of new bundles including Duck Cover, Competitor Sledge 20, Astral Order, Steady Breath, and Shark Bite.
In terms of progression, Ubisoft clarified the status of Premium Battle Pass rewards. The Legend Division rewards tab has been temporarily disabled and will remain inaccessible until the upcoming mid-season update is released.
