PGL Astana 2026 ran May 9-13 in a Swiss format. Eight teams with 3-win records advanced to the playoffs, while three losses meant elimination. Quarterfinals begin May 15.
Who Advanced
Among the qualified teams: G2 Esports, Aurora Gaming, and six others. Teams finishing 3-2 earned their playoff spots in the extended Swiss bracket.
Who Did Not
The MongolZ — widely considered a tournament favorite — finished 2-3 and did not advance. A significant upset in the Swiss stage.
What's Next
