PELADN prepares WO5 304 mini PC with Intel Wildcat Lake processor
PELADN is preparing a new version of its compact WO5 304 mini PC, powered by the Intel Core 3 304. This chip belongs to the entry-level Wildcat Lake family within the Intel Core Series 3 lineup, officially launched in Q2 2026.
Specs and Wildcat Lake Architecture
The new WO5 304 model comes with 16GB of LPDDR5-6400 memory soldered directly to the motherboard. Unlike some other Wildcat Lake mini PCs, this memory is not user-replaceable. Storage expansion is handled by two M.2 2280 slots, both connected via PCIe 4.0 x2 interfaces.
The Intel Core 3 304 features a hybrid architecture with five cores and five threads: one Performance core (P-core) and four Low Power Efficient cores (LP E-cores). The base clock is 1.8 GHz, with turbo frequencies reaching up to 4.3 GHz for the P-core and 3.3 GHz for the E-cores. Power consumption is rated at 15W (base) and 35W (maximum turbo).
The chip is manufactured using Intel's 18A process. The integrated Xe graphics core features one compute unit and runs at up to 2.3 GHz. It also includes an NPU with 15 TOPS of performance.
Connectivity and Dimensions
The mini PC measures 116 × 106 × 37.5 mm and weighs just 310 grams. Connectivity options include one 40Gbps USB-C port, three 10Gbps USB-A ports, one USB 2.0 port, two HDMI 2.0 outputs, a 2.5GbE network port, and a 3.5mm audio connector. Wireless connectivity is provided via Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
Market Context
Pricing and an official release date for the WO5 304 have not yet been confirmed by PELADN. The company already sells several systems under the WO5 name, including models based on older AMD processors. Their current WO5 Ryzen model uses the same compact desktop format but features replaceable DDR4 memory.
In the Wildcat Lake mini PC segment, other vendors also offer competing options: the Dell 15 starts at $699, Framework Laptop 12 at $549, and Minisforum offers a similar system for $263. Lenovo has also added a Wildcat Lake version to its ThinkCentre Neo 50q Gen 7 lineup.
