PEC and PAS Finals: The Final Race for PGC 2026 Spots
The upcoming weekend marks a critical turning point in the PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS esports calendar. As the final regional playdays of the year, the PEC: Fall Finals 2 and PAS2 Finals 2 will determine the regional champions and, more importantly, the final contenders for the PGC Points.
These finals represent the last opportunity for teams to secure their qualification for the PUBG Global Championship (PGC) 2026 in Istanbul, Türkiye. With a prize pool exceeding $1.5 million and 32 teams competing for global supremacy, the stakes have never been higher.
A unique aspect of the EMEA region involves the Host Wildcard. Since the PGC is being held in Türkiye, one Turkish team will receive a direct seed into the Grand Finals in Istanbul (December 11–13). If a Turkish team qualifies via PGC Points, the wildcard slot will shift to the next highest-ranked EMEA team. If multiple Turkish teams qualify via points, the top-ranked Turkish team will claim the wildcard.
Format and Contenders
Both tournaments will follow the classic SUPER format: three match days totaling 15 matches. The champion will be the team with the highest combined score from kill points and placement points.
The PEC: Fall Finals 2 lobby features ACEND, Club Aogiri, Tree Bushido, Joga Bonito, Natus Vincere, NewGate, noslack, PGG, S2G Esports, S8UL, Team Vitality, Twisted Minds, Virtus.Pro, Vis, and WINside.
In the PAS2 Finals 2, Team Falcons and Team Liquid enter as favorites following their victories in previous stages. Other competing teams include 55 e-Sports, BILU, Circle Nine, Copenhagen Wolves, DUEL, Earthworms, Godlike, NO ORG, NO WAY, Per Diem Withholders, PEST Control, ROC Esports, Team FATE, and TOYO.
Watch Parties and Drops
Viewers can earn exclusive in-game drops by accumulating 120 minutes of watch time on official Twitch or Kick broadcasts. The rewards schedule is as follows:
- October 2: Battle Hazard Work Boots, RIP YOU (Spray)
- October 3: Fried Chicken (Spray), Battle Hazard Logo Tee
- October 4: PUBG Creed Backpack (Level 2), Winner Winner Hat, PUBG Varsity Jacket
Broadcasts will be available on the official pubg_battlegrounds channels, as well as through various regional and community streamers, including the Russian-language stream on pubg_cis.
