Path of Exile 2 Hits Early Access Milestone: What Comes Next in 2026
Path of Exile 2 — одна из самых ожидаемых ARPG последних лет — продолжает эволюционировать в раннем доступе. Разработчики из Grinding Gear Games поделились дорожной картой и рассказали, что предстоит игрокам на пути к версии 1.0.
Over Half a Year in Early Access
Path of Exile 2 launched into Early Access on December 6, 2024, drawing a record 600,000+ concurrent players on Steam. Since then, Grinding Gear Games has released major updates every few months, steadily expanding the game with new classes, mechanics, and endgame content.
Patch 0.2.0, released in March 2025, added two Ascendancy classes and reworked the support gem system. Patch 0.3.0 overhauled endgame progression with new Pinnacle Boss systems.
What Players Can Expect
According to design director Jonathan Rogers, GGG is focused on completing the act structure — all six acts will be available at version 1.0, compared to three in the current EA build. Additional base classes with unique Ascendancy trees are also in development.
The Atlas and endgame mapping system is being redesigned for better depth and replayability at high levels. A new League called Renascence is planned alongside the next major patch.
Full Release Timeline
While no specific date has been given, GGG targets 2026 for the 1.0 release. At the current development pace, a late 2026 launch appears likely — roughly two years after Early Access began.
