OrangeZ steps down from DETONATE
Australian coach Leroy "OrangeZ" Burns is leaving DETONATE's Counter-Strike 2 roster.
Australian coach Leroy "OrangeZ" Burns has announced his departure from DETONATE. His exit marks the end of a two-month tenure with the ESEA Advanced Counter-Strike 2 squad.
OrangeZ joined the roster in July, stepping in for Taylor "ioRascal" Hays, who was unable to commit fully due to a busy schedule. Prior to this role, Burns coached Zomblers and was active within the Australian competitive scene.
Speaking to Dust2.us, OrangeZ stated that his decision to leave stems from a need to reassess his future options. He spoke highly of the team's IGL, Matthew "tatm" Munro, noting his bright potential, and expressed readiness to coach for any organization to continue his professional development.
DETONATE recently entered the NA VRS Top 20 following a strong performance at FRAG Midwest: St. Louis. OrangeZ was not present at the event due to his location in Australia.
The current DETONATE roster consists of Austin "chante" Ganster, Matthew "tatm" Munro, Timothy "carN" Adams, Max "Maxuel" Barutt, Milan "CrePoW" Libbrecht, and Aidan "Feral" Wood (inactive).
