Once Human v2.3.7 Patch Fixes First-Person Fire VFX and Adds Gear Viewing Plans
The development team of Once Human has released the eighth installment of their "Meta Hotline," a dedicated update addressing player feedback and optimization progress following the recent v2.3.7 patch. Announced on August 26, 2026, this bulletin details the status of several high-priority requests submitted via the new Feedback Hot Charts feature, which allows players to vote on development priorities in real time.
At the top of the current cycle's list is a request to optimize first-person fire visual effects. The team confirmed that flames surrounding a character in first-person view were obstructing vision and hindering combat controls. This issue has been successfully repaired and is now live with the August 24 version update.
Regarding the suggestion to allow placing online trading items into regular depots, the developers explained that this feature is not supported at this stage. Online trading items operate under a binding period, and storing them in standard depots could lead to inventory slot issues. However, the team noted that they previously reduced the binding time for these items after the August 5 update and will continue to monitor the trading experience for further optimization opportunities.
Players also asked to add "Radiance" stats to dye customization. The development team clarified that Radiance is tied to cosmetic collection achievements, whereas dye is intended for personal appearance customization without such restrictions. Consequently, Radiance will not be added to dye currently. That said, the request to apply dye support to fabrics and metals on hairstyles has been accepted into the development plan, with specific release details to be announced later.
A significant portion of player attention focused on adding a blacklist or whitelist system for harvesting "Growshroom." This feature would allow players to precisely manage which types of mushrooms they wish to collect. The team confirmed this request has been adopted and is currently in progress, though the specific implementation requires further design work. No definite release date has been set yet.
Another confirmed issue involves planter skins appearing after grafting, which was identified as a bug. This error is expected to be fixed during the September 16 maintenance window. Additionally, the request to view other players' gear loadouts has been adopted. The team plans to implement this feature while incorporating privacy settings that allow users to hide their loadout information if they prefer not to share it publicly.
The development team emphasized that every piece of feedback, including likes and dislikes on the Feedback Hot Charts, serves as a foundation for Once Human's continued evolution. They encourage players to keep using the platform to share their thoughts, promising that future prioritized updates may directly address suggestions from the community.
