NVIDIA Releases RTX Spark Game Ready Driver for Phantom Blade Zero

NVIDIA has released the new RTX Spark Game Ready Driver, version 621.01 WHQL. This update focuses on supporting upcoming game launches and integrating next-generation AI technologies, specifically expanding DLSS 4.5 capabilities and enhanced AI rendering models.

Support for Phantom Blade Zero and Cyberpunk 2077

A major highlight of the driver is the optimization for S-GAME's Phantom Blade Zero, launching on October 28th. On RTX Spark devices, the title will feature DLSS 4.5 with Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, alongside DLSS Ray Reconstruction to refine lighting and visual effects.

Additionally, Cyberpunk 2077 by CD PROJEKT RED is set to receive an update on October 22nd. This update will upgrade the game's entire DLSS suite to version 4.5, introducing Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and upgrading existing integrations like Ray Reconstruction and Super Resolution to NVIDIA's second-generation AI models.

The Evolution of DLSS 5 and Neural Rendering

NVIDIA also highlighted advancements in DLSS 5 through its 3D-Guided Neural Rendering technology. While traditional DLSS methods focus on reconstructing existing scene data, Neural Rendering uses AI to generate lifelike lighting and material details that are often stripped away due to real-time performance constraints. This allows developers to achieve their original artistic vision while maintaining the foundation of the engine's geometry and textures.

For NBA 2K27 Season 2, the new DLSS 5 AI model is reportedly 10x faster than the version debuted in March. This performance uplift allows RTX Spark laptop users to see up to a 1.4X increase in frame rates, while significantly enhancing details such as skin subsurface scattering, hair rendering, and contact shadowing.
