NVIDIA Game Ready: why players update before new releases

NVIDIA has released another Game Ready driver for PC players. These updates usually arrive around major game launches and help GeForce cards work more reliably with new releases on day one.

For a regular player, the point is simple: if you plan to play a new release on GeForce, install the current driver ahead of time and make sure the game starts cleanly. It is not a magic performance promise, but normal preparation for a new PC game.

The driver does not replace the quality of the PC port itself, but it can reduce the chance of running into issues NVIDIA has already addressed.
