Nongshim RedForce have secured their first-ever ticket to VALORANT Champions by defeating Gen.G Esports 2-1 in the upper bracket semifinal of VCT 2026: Pacific Stage 2.
The victory came after a hard-fought series on Ascent, Summit, and Sunset. The win sends the South Korean squad to the upper bracket final, guaranteeing them at least a third-place finish in Shanghai.
For Goo "Rb" Sang-min, this marks his return to the world stage since 2023 with DRX. His four teammates will make their debut at the season-ending event.
A top-three result will add crucial points to their Pacific Championship Points total, helping them secure one of the two regional slots for VALORANT Champions 2026.
