NIP Sign Krimbo as IGL on Loan Until End of Season
Ninjas in Pyjamas have confirmed the signing of Krimbo on loan as their new in-game leader, with the deal running until the end of the season. The move fills the void left by Snappi's departure and hands the captaincy to a player who has been waiting for exactly this kind of opportunity.
Krimbo spent the better part of 2025 and 2026 as one of the better players in the European tier-2 scene without ever landing the tier-1 platform his performances deserved. NIP's statement described him as "hungrier than ever" and framed the move as a fresh perspective for a team that knows it's capable of more than its recent results have shown.
The loan structure is notable. It suggests Krimbo's current organization isn't ready to sell permanently, and that NIP are treating this as a trial window ahead of a potential longer-term arrangement. With Snappi stepping down only days ago and the search for a second player still ongoing, this is a partial solution rather than a completed rebuild.
