Battlestate Games Director Nikita Boyanov confirmed the launch of the PvE Prestige mode within this year. The new season 'KORD BREACH' begins on August 3.
Battlestate Games showcased an updated version of Escape from Tarkov at ChinaJoy 2026. Project Director Nikita Boyanov personally confirmed plans for PvE mode expansion and announced the upcoming season launch.
At the event in China, developers demonstrated a major update featuring new locations and the 'Blackout' mode. Nikita Boyanov noted that the team received positive feedback from players regarding new events and plans to expand their lineup based on this response.
Significant attention was given to the future of PvE. The Director stated directly: "PvE Prestige will be released this year." He emphasized that the system will differ from the PvP version, offering unique rewards for players who prefer solo gameplay.
The season titled KORD BREACH will begin on August 3rd. Within its framework, players will be able to explore the narrative of the "Black Division" unit, access a new modifier system, and complete a free seasonal Battle Pass with exclusive rewards.
