New publisher PUBLSH launches with Pera Coda
A new publisher, PUBLSH, has officially entered the market. The company's debut title is the episodic murder mystery Pera Coda, a Disco Elysium-inspired project developed by Turkish studio Elyzio and its internal division Falan Studio.
Headquartered in California, PUBLSH was co-founded in 2025 by CEO Ben Granados and chief strategy officer Samuel Clarke. Granados previously co-founded the marketing agency Petrol, which has worked with major industry names including Activision Blizzard, Bandai Namco, CD Projekt, Sony Interactive Entertainment, and Tencent.
The publisher aims to offer "publisher-level leadership without publisher-level control," according to Clarke. The company plans a selective release schedule of roughly four to five games per year, focusing on projects with development budgets under $20 million. This strategy is intended to allow PUBLSH to invest deeply in a small number of partners rather than managing a large portfolio of titles.
Pera Coda is set to launch on PC in 2027, featuring point-and-click investigative gameplay paired with psychological storytelling. While currently funded by its founders, PUBLSH is considering bringing in outside investors who align with their long-term business vision.
