NAVI to face Pipsqueak+4, Dawn Bulls to meet Klim Sani4 for BLAST Slam IX spot
The semifinals of the RES Unchained 6: BLAST Slam IX Europe Closed Qualifier are set. After all four quarterfinal series concluded with 2:0 results, the remaining teams are now just one victory away from securing a spot at BLAST Slam IX. The semifinal matchups will feature Natus Vincere against Pipsqueak+4, and Dawn Bulls against Klim Sani4.
Natus Vincere and Pipsqueak+4 advance
Natus Vincere opened their playoff campaign with a dominant performance against Zero Tenacity. The series was a clean sweep, with NAVI taking the first map 37:22 in 45 minutes and 28 seconds, followed by a decisive 39:10 victory on the second map that lasted 26 minutes and 54 seconds. Taras "gotthejuice" Linnikov stood out for NAVI, posting an impressive average K/D/A of 10.1/1.4/6.9.
Pipsqueak+4 secured their semifinal berth by defeating GamerLegion 2:0. They controlled the first map with a 30:6 scoreline in just over 31 minutes. After a much more competitive second map that lasted 53 minutes and 12 seconds, Pipsqueak+4 closed the series 34:29. Abdimalik "Malik" Sailau was the standout performer for the squad, recording an average K/D/A of 4.6/2.1/13.1.
The match between Natus Vincere and Pipsqueak+4 is scheduled for September 13 at 10:00 CET.
Dawn Bulls and Klim Sani4 head to the final stage
Dawn Bulls showed significant strength in their quarterfinal matchup against MOUZ, winning the series 2:0. They secured the first map 33:14 in 48 minutes and 47 seconds and followed it up with a 36:8 victory on the second map. Sukhbat "Sanctity-" Otgondavaa led the team with a remarkable average K/D/A of 10.3/1.4/15.0.
Klim Sani4 also moved forward with a 2:0 sweep over HULIGANI. The first map ended 31:8 in 35 minutes and 55 seconds, while the second map was completed in 32 minutes and 44 seconds with a score of 26:9. Ilya "squad1x" Kuvaldin delivered a standout performance, finishing with an average K/D/A of 12.0/0.3/8.9.
The semifinal clash between Dawn Bulls and Klim Sani4 will take place on September 13 at 13:00 CET. The winners of both semifinal matches will claim the two European slots for BLAST Slam IX.
