NAVI Esports Head Denies Rumors of Club Leaving VALORANT
The head of the esports division at NAVI, Amiran "ami" Rekhviashvili, has denied rumors suggesting the organization might leave the VALORANT ecosystem. The comments were made in response to claims by insider valohabercisi regarding the potential closure of the club's division.
The rumors surfaced following a disappointing end to the season for the team. NAVI suffered two consecutive 1:2 losses against Joblife and Team Heretics, resulting in an exit from the Play-In stage of VCT 2026: EMEA Stage 2 without advancing to the playoffs.
In his public response, Rekhviashvili emphasized that the club's presence in the title does not rely solely on partnership status. He stated that the organization will continue to support the VALORANT ecosystem regardless of whether they secure partnership status for the upcoming season.
While NAVI does not intend to withdraw from the game entirely, Rekhviashvili did not specify the exact format of their future operations or whether the organization will pursue a partnership spot in the next VCT season.
