NAVI and FURIA Battle for ESL Pro League S24 Playoff Spots
The pairings for the fourth round of the ESL Pro League S24 group stage have been set. NAVI will face Falcons, while FURIA is scheduled to meet Aurora in matches for a spot in the playoffs. Additionally, Spirit will compete against 1win for a ticket to the next stage.
All three series determining the playoff participants will be played in a BO3 format. The winners of these matches will secure their places in the next stage of the tournament. Meanwhile, the fourth round serves as an elimination round for others: a loss in these series will result in tournament exit from Counter-Strike 2.
The clash between NAVI and Falcons is drawing significant attention. The Ukrainian side earned a chance to compete directly for a playoff spot after defeating 9z in the third round. For Falcons, this is an opportunity to bounce back following a 1:2 loss to Vitality.
In another high-stakes encounter, FURIA will take on Aurora. The Brazilian squad advanced after defeating PARIVISION in the previous round, while Aurora secured a 2:1 victory over BetBoom Team.
Simultaneously, three elimination matches will take place. In the series G2 vs. PARIVISION, 9z vs. BetBoom Team, and Legacy vs. M80, the losers will be eliminated from ESL Pro League S24. Previously, MOUZ and Vitality became the first teams to secure their playoff spots by achieving three consecutive victories.
