NAVI take third place at IEM Beijing 2026 after beating BetBoom
NAVI finished third at IEM Beijing 2026 following a 2-0 victory over BetBoom in the third-place decider match.
The win over BetBoom allowed NAVI to secure a top-three finish and claim revenge for their 0-2 loss to the same opponent in Bucharest. This marks the team's first top-four finish at a top-tier event since their victory at IEM Atlanta six months ago.
On Mirage, NAVI took early control, establishing an 11-3 lead before BetBoom managed to pick up three consecutive rounds. The map ended 13-6, driven by w0nderful, who posted 20 kills and 105.4 ADR, and b1t, who won all five of his opening duels to finish with 19 kills.
Ancient proved to be a tougher challenge. After an initial 6-1 lead for NAVI, BetBoom fought back to take the lead after the side swap. NAVI responded with four straight rounds to close the map 13-9. Key performances included iM with 101.9 ADR and makazze, who won eight opening duels.
Following this result, NAVI will skip BLAST Rivals in Hong Kong, making Beijing their final event before the Singapore Major. The team will enter the Major starting from Stage 2, carrying significant momentum into the tournament.
