MSI Unveils Prestige N16 Flip AI+: A 2-in-1 with Tandem OLED and NVIDIA RTX Spark

MSI has announced the Prestige N16 Flip AI+, a premium 2-in-1 convertible designed for the era of agentic AI. The laptop is powered by the new NVIDIA RTX Spark platform, which integrates NVIDIA Blackwell graphics and NVIDIA Grace CPU capabilities into a single mobile form factor. This setup is specifically engineered to run large-scale AI models locally, reducing reliance on cloud computing.

NVIDIA RTX Spark and Local AI Performance

The core of the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ is the NVIDIA RTX Spark superchip, which combines a 20-core "Grace" CPU with a "Blackwell" RTX GPU (featuring up to 6144 cores in high-end models). MSI claims the system can deliver up to 1 petaflop of FP4 AI performance. By leveraging the NVIDIA CUDA platform, the device provides a robust environment for developers and creators to run AI agents, prototype models, and handle complex coding tasks directly on the hardware.

A standout feature is the support for up to 128GB of unified memory shared between the CPU and GPU. This massive memory pool is intended to accommodate large-scale AI workloads, complex 3D projects up to 90GB, and high-resolution media editing. Running these tasks locally enhances data privacy and minimizes latency by avoiding the delays inherent in cloud-based processing.

Tandem OLED and Versatile Design

To support professional creative workflows, MSI offers two 16-inch touchscreen options: a 2.8K OLED panel (2880 x 1800) and a high-brightness Tandem OLED panel with UHD+ resolution (3840 x 2400). The Tandem OLED technology utilizes a dual-layer structure to achieve peak brightness of up to 1600 nits. Both displays support a variable refresh rate up to 120 Hz, 100% DCI-P3 color coverage, and are VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certified.

The device runs Windows 11 on Arm, providing a balance of high energy efficiency and instant-on responsiveness. While it supports native Arm applications, it also maintains compatibility with traditional x86/x64 software through emulation. The 360-degree hinge allows the device to transition between laptop, tablet, tent, and presentation modes, and it comes bundled with the MSI Nano Pen for precise digital input.

Pricing and Availability

MSI has officially opened pre-orders for the Prestige N16 Flip AI+. Depending on the market and specific configuration—primarily varying by memory capacity and display type—prices are expected to range from €3,449 to €7,999. The top-tier model, featuring 128GB of memory and the Tandem OLED screen, sits at the highest end of this price spectrum.
