Monster Hunter Wilds Demo for Switch2: Chapter1-3 Available Now
Capcom has officially released the demo for Monster Hunter Wilds on Switch2 today. This trial version allows players to experience the early stages of the game and test its features before the full launch.
The demo covers character creation, the prologue, and gameplay through Chapter1-3 "To the Forest." Players can hunt new monsters, including Chatacabra and Kemathris, and experience the hunting action using all 14 weapon types.

While online multiplayer is not supported in the demo, the Switch2 version allows up to 4 players to play together via local wireless communication. Players can also call in Support Hunter NPCs by sending a rescue signal during quests. Note that online features and photo mode are unavailable in the demo, and local wireless play is restricted to matching demo versions or full game versions.

Save data and option settings from the demo can be transferred to the full game. Monster Hunter Wilds is scheduled for release on Switch2 on December 4, 2026. The full version will include all previous update content, such as Mizutsune, Gogmazios, and the Final Fantasy XIV collaboration featuring Omega Planetes.
