Luminosity out of DraculaN Season 7
Luminosity has been eliminated from DraculaN Season 7 in Romania. Following two consecutive losses, the team exited the knockout bracket, a result that significantly impacted their chances of qualifying for a Major.
Luminosity opened their campaign against Nexus. On Ancient, Oscar "AZUWU" Bell and Simon "yxngstxr" Boije led their side to victory with 20 and 19 frags respectively. However, the momentum shifted on Inferno; despite a quick 3-0 start, Nexus fought back to take the map 13:10.
The series was decided on Dust2. Although Luminosity held a 7-5 lead after the defensive half, the Nexus CT side proved impenetrable. The Romanians surrendered only two rounds in the second half, securing a 13:9 reverse sweep.
The subsequent match against BBL proved even more difficult for Luminosity. On Nuke, they struggled to find openings on the T side, losing 13:6. On Mirage, BBL took control after a 2-0 start, with Jason "salazar" Salazar contributing 19 frags in a dominant 13:3 victory for the Danes.
Following these results, Luminosity's Major qualification probability has plummeted from 44% to 15%, according to HLTV simulations. Their final opportunity to secure a Major spot will be at the RLG Tesla Cup 2026, starting October 27.
