Liquid and M80 secure invites to Logitech G Play Connect $100K LAN
Team Liquid Citadel and M80 have officially accepted invitations to the Logitech G Play Connect LAN in Warsaw, Poland. The tier-two event will feature twelve teams competing for a $100,000 prize pool, offering a crucial opportunity for squads outside the top-tier invite bubble to earn valuable VRS points.
The tournament will run from September 17th to September 23rd at the EXPO XXI venue. The field consists of ten invited teams and two additional sides that will fill the remaining spots via closed qualifiers.
Group stage matches will be played in a round-robin best-of-one format. Teams are split into two groups of six. Winners from each group advance directly to the semifinals, while second and third-place teams earn a spot in the quarterfinals.
Schedule breakdown: Group A begins on September 17th, followed by Group B on September 18th. Quarterfinals take place on September 19th, with the semifinals and grand finals scheduled for September 22nd and 23rd respectively.
For M80 and Team Liquid Citadel, this event serves as a critical warm-up before iBUYPOWER Masters fl0m's Mythical LAN 2026. If either or both teams reach the final day in Warsaw, they will face a quick turnaround to travel to Las Vegas, NV for the Mythical LAN, which kicks off on September 25th.
