Lenovo Lists Business Monitor ThinkVision P27UD-40 with Thunderbolt 4, Daisy-Chaining, and 4K-UHD Support
Lenovo has listed the new 27-inch ThinkVision P27UD-40 business monitor on its official website. The device supports Thunderbolt 4, Daisy-Chaining, and 4K-UHD resolution (3840x2160) with up to 120Hz refresh rate.
Lenovo has added the new ThinkVision P27UD-40 monitor to its official website. It is positioned as a smaller, mostly identical sibling of the ThinkVision P32UD-40, which has been available in Germany since November 2025. The 27-inch unit is designed for business and office use.
Key Specifications
The monitor features an IPS panel with a 4K-UHD resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels in a 16:9 aspect ratio. The maximum refresh rate is stated at 120 Hz, ensuring smooth operation. Pixel density reaches approximately 163 ppi.
Besides weak HDR10 support, Lenovo advertises 10-bit color depth (8-bit + FRC), a brightness of 350 cd/m², a response time of 4–6 ms (gray-to-gray), and a contrast ratio of 1500:1. The color gamut covers 99% sRGB, 99% Rec. 709, and 98% DCI-P3. For multi-device setups, an integrated KVM switch and PiP/PbP modes are available.
Interfaces and Daisy-Chaining
The standout feature is support for Thunderbolt 4 (up to 140W PD) as both input and output, enabling multi-monitor setups via Daisy-Chaining. Additional ports include DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, a 2.5 Gbit/s RJ-45 Ethernet port, a USB hub (3.2 Gen 1 with four Type-A and one Type-B port), and a USB-C port with 15W PD.
Ergonomics and Accessories
The monitor offers extensive ergonomics: tilt, swivel, height adjustment up to 155 mm, pivot mode, and VESA mounting (100x100 mm). The backlight is flicker-free. While the webcam ThinkVision MC60 or soundbar MS30 are not included, they can be added optionally for around 50 or 23 euros respectively.
Price and Availability
Official release information regarding the exact date and price remains pending from Lenovo. Based on the pricing of the 32-inch sibling model P32UD-40 (starting at around 621 euros), a price under 600 euros is expected for the 27-inch unit. The device comes with a three-year warranty.
