Legend of Ymir Adds New 'Assassin' Class
The MMORPG Legend of Ymir by Wemade has officially added a new playable class, the 'Assassin', as of October 1. The update coincides with a rollout of various in-game events celebrating the game's upcoming 600th day of official service.
The 'Assassin' is a melee damage dealer equipped with Dual Blades, designed to exploit enemy openings through infiltration and combo-based combat. A key mechanic of the class involves summoning shadow clones using the shadow spirit Vane; merging with this spirit allows the character to perform additional strikes and gain extended attack range.
To mark the 600th day of service on October 12, Wemade is hosting the '600-Day 7-Day Attendance' event until October 22. Participants can earn two types of "Sigrun" Re-synthesis Tickets and a Safe Emblem Enhancement Ticket, which prevents item destruction upon a failed enhancement attempt.
From October 8 to November 12, the '30-Day Attendance of Blessing' event will be active. This event offers Hero Soul—a crafting material for summon tickets—and the Sublime Summon Ticket Selection Box, which provides players with a chance at Legendary-grade summons.
Additionally, a mission event running through October 15 rewards players who complete crafting, dismantling, and daily tasks with two types of "Brokkr" Equipment Restoration Tickets and a '600-Day Special Key'. This key can be used to open a special treasure chest containing rewards like the Noble Hero Valkyrie Card. Other concurrent activities include collecting '600-Day Cake Slices' via Expeditions to craft items and the Andvari's Hidden Gift Box event, where players can spend Silver Coins to obtain items such as the Noble Hero Horn.
