Latto on Legacy's FISSURE Playground 3 Victory: "It's the Magic of China"
Legacy player Bruno "latto" Rebelatto shared his thoughts following the FISSURE Playground 3 grand final victory. After defeating G2 to claim their third trophy in China, the Brazilian rifler highlighted the impact of local fans, the team's mental growth, and the significance of reuniting with his longtime teammates.
The Magic of China
According to latto, the support from Chinese fans has been a driving force for the team. He noted that the atmosphere helps Legacy perform their best Counter-Strike 2. The Brazilian also described his performance in the final against G2 as the best of his career, citing the high stakes of the match as a key factor in his play.
Mental Fortitude
A major part of Legacy's recent progress involves their mental preparation. latto credited the work done with BobZ, adrrr, and arT for the team's resilience. He specifically mentioned that this preparation was crucial during a difficult match against MIBR, which allowed the team to stay in contention for the title.
Reuniting with dumau and try
The interview also touched upon the long-standing partnership between latto and Eduardo "dumau" Wolkmer. Having played together since 2021, their mutual understanding is a cornerstone of their success. Additionally, latto discussed playing alongside Santino "try" Rigal again. He noted that this iteration of the trio is different from their time in 00NATION, as all three players have gained significant experience and maturity over the last four years.
Following their success at FISSURE Playground 3, Legacy will head to ESL Pro League Season 24. The tournament kicks off on October 3, featuring 16 teams competing for a $1 million prize pool.
