LAG and Zomblers advance in CROSSFIRE Season 6
The third round of the CROSSFIRE Season 6 lower bracket, featuring a $10,000 prize pool, has concluded. Both LAG and Zomblers secured convincing 2-0 series victories to move forward in the tournament.
LAG proved too strong for KODEX in their series. On Ancient, LAG took control early after winning the pistol rounds, eventually closing the map 13:9. They followed this up with a dominant performance on Nuke, where they restricted KODEX to just two rounds on the T-side, securing a 13:6 win. Matthew "Cryptic" Whitmore led the charge with a massive 1.80 rating and 109.9 ADR across both maps.
Meanwhile, Zomblers delivered a clinical performance against NuTorious. After a commanding 13:5 win on Inferno, Connor "CoolComs" Barnes showcased exceptional form, posting a 2.44 rating and 147.1 ADR. Zomblers maintained their momentum on Mirage, winning the pistol rounds and effectively shutting down NuTorious with a 13:5 victory to complete the sweep.
With the field narrowing to twelve teams, Zomblers are set to face Villainous, while LAG will take on DETONATE in the upcoming playoff matches.
