Ladder Knight browser demo is now available
A browser demo for the 2D action-adventure platformer Ladder Knight is now available for free. The full version of the game is scheduled to launch on Steam in December 2026.
While Ladder Knight follows the traditional platformer formula of jumping between ledges, the titular ladder is the core mechanic. Players can summon vertical ladders to reach high areas, activate switches, or hold up falling ceilings, adding a puzzle-like layer to the exploration.
The gameplay also features encounters with massive bosses, where the ladder serves as a key tool for dodging attacks. Visually, the game utilizes a nostalgic pixel-art style for its characters and environments. The current demo includes 21 gems and one difficult relic to find, though the developer noted that no one has successfully collected the full set yet.
