Korea LoL National Team to Face USA and Vietnam in Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games Prep
The South Korea national League of Legends team will face the United States and Vietnam in two exhibition matches on September 19 and 20, 2026, ahead of the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.
Organized by the Korea e-Sports Association, the series will take place at the Busan Cinema Center in Haeundae-gu. The association announced the event on September 7 as a final public opportunity to assess the roster’s competitive readiness before the Asian Games.
Both matches will be played as best-of-five series using the same game patch as the Asian Games. The schedule features the United States on day one and Vietnam on day two. The Vietnamese squad will field its official Asian Games delegation, while the American team will consist of players with international experience.
Association chairman Kim Young-man stated that the exhibitions provide a crucial chance to simulate international tournament conditions, focusing on long-duration strategy adjustments and team coordination. The association confirmed it is preparing the event to support the players and fans in Busan.
