The ASL Season 22 grand finals will feature a high-stakes StarCraft matchup between Terran Yoo Young-jin and Zerg Kim Min-chul. The event is scheduled for October 17 at the Lotte World Ice Rink in Jamsil, Seoul.
Hosted by SOOP, the final will be played in a best-of-seven (Bo7) format. Yoo Young-jin is looking to secure his first-ever ASL title, having previously finished as the runner-up in Season 14. Meanwhile, Kim Min-chul, renowned for his defensive playstyle, aims to claim his fifth championship in the history of ASL.
To enhance the spectator experience, SOOP is preparing a large-scale special stage at the venue to ensure an immersive atmosphere for the fans.
