Hanwha Life Esports coach Yoon Seong-yeong: "Mental state was key to comeback win over T1"
Hanwha Life Esports head coach Yoon Seong-yeong ("Homme") stated that his team believed they could win against T1 despite being down 0-2, provided the players remained mentally stable.
The victory came during the LCK Playoffs Upper Bracket Final at Grand Seoul LP in Seoul. Hanwha Life Esports completed a 3-2 comeback against T1, securing a spot in the Grand Final where they will face Gen.G.
Reflecting on the series, the coach noted that while the first game was close, the mistakes in the second game offered valuable lessons for the team. He emphasized that the roster prepared with confidence and did not view their head-to-head record against T1 as a disadvantage.
Regarding the frequent appearance of Sejuani in the jungle, the coach defended the champion's viability, noting that the team selects picks based on the opponent's composition. Looking ahead to the Grand Final, he acknowledged that both teams are well-versed in each other's strengths, particularly in the draft phase. The coaching staff plans to analyze today's performance thoroughly to present a stronger showing against Gen.G.
