Hot Wheels Infinite Rush Launches in Early Access
Hot Wheels Infinite Rush launches in Early Access today, bringing a high-speed arcade racing experience to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC. Developed by Milestone S.r.l., the game features four explorable toy-scale islands, over 150 vehicles, and a Track Builder that lets players create custom courses within the open world.
The title is built around free exploration rather than a fixed sequence of races. Players can roam across four distinct islands, each filled with structured races, free-roaming activities, hidden collectibles, and environmental discoveries that reward curiosity.
At launch, the game offers more than 150 vehicles divided into four unique classes: Versatiles, Titans, Drifters, and Speeders. Each class is designed for different racing styles, from sliding through tight corners to mastering heavy-duty power or blasting down long straights. Events across the islands are tailored to these specific vehicle categories, ensuring players can find a match for their preferred playstyle.
Core gameplay revolves around the Rush Squad, a roster system that allows players to select one vehicle from each of the four categories. During free-roaming exploration, players can seamlessly switch between these vehicles with a single button press, adapting instantly to any challenge encountered across the archipelago.
Progression is tied to collection. Winning races, completing special activities, and defeating rival crews unlock new vehicles. Players can also discover hidden opportunities, such as the Secret Dealership, to expand their garage. The ultimate goal of the single-player campaign is to defeat the Rush Master on each of the four islands, claiming their car and title to become the one true Rush Master.
Customization options extend beyond vehicle selection. The Sticker and Livery editors allow players to customize their cars to their liking. The Track Builder includes an adaptive ground-snapping system and AI action markers, enabling players to create custom tracks that blend naturally into the environment. These tools support the creation of stunt courses or competitive circuits, with virtual opponents that can race against the player's creations.
The game supports multiple modes, including single-player, split-screen for up to four players, and online multiplayer with full cross-play. Hot Wheels Infinite Rush is available now in Early Access on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC, and is optimized for handhelds, including the ROG Xbox Ally. The game is priced at $49.99, with a pre-order bonus pack featuring the Driftsta and Power Pipes vehicles.
