HORI Unveils Modular Arcade Controller for Switch 2 and PC
HORI has announced the HORI Arcade Classic Pro, a specialized arcade controller designed for the Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. The device features a modular design that allows users to swap control elements to match their preferred gameplay style.
The standout feature of this controller is the ability to freely swap modules on both the left and right sides. The package includes four distinct units: a standard 8-way joystick, a trackball for intuitive movement, a paddle for dial-based control, and a unique "loop lever" that functions as both a stick and a rotary dial. This flexibility makes the controller suitable not only for fighting games but also for classic arcade titles, including the Arcade Archives series.
The controller is an officially licensed Nintendo product. In addition to its modularity, the device supports turbo functions with three speed settings (5, 10, and 20 presses per second) and a button remapping (assign) function. A turbo hold feature is also included for convenience.
