HEROIC, B8, and TYLOO Qualify for IEM Beijing 2026

HEROIC and B8 have secured their spots at IEM Beijing 2026 by defeating Nuclear TigeRES in the European closed qualifier. Meanwhile, TYLOO claimed the Asian slot after FlyQuest was forced to forfeit due to technical issues.

The final matches of the European closed qualifier took place on September 4, determining the two teams that would join the main event in Beijing. B8 opened the day by sweeping Nuclear TigeRES 2:0, taking Inferno 13:11 and Mirage 13:4. This victory eliminated Nuclear TigeRES from contention for the top spots and sent them to the lower bracket.

In the lower-bracket final, HEROIC faced the remaining challenger. HEROIC had previously advanced by beating Eternal Fire 2:1. The series against Nuclear TigeRES began with a dominant 13:6 win on Ancient. The second map proved more competitive, but HEROIC closed it out 19:17 to secure their qualification for the main stage.

The Asian qualifier concluded with TYLOO securing the sole available spot. The team was scheduled to face FlyQuest in a deciding match, but the series ended in a forfeit victory for the Chinese squad. FlyQuest was unable to play due to high ping caused by damage to an internet cable between Australia and Singapore. TYLOO declined to reschedule the match, citing their departure for another tournament on September 5.

IEM Beijing 2026 will run from November 2 to 8 in Beijing, China. The event features 16 teams, with 13 receiving direct invitations and the remaining three advancing through qualifiers. The total prize pool is $1,250,000.
