HAVN HS 360 VGPU Review: Smaller, but Focused on Clean Builds
Two years after the release of the HS 420, HAVN has introduced the HS 360 VGPU. While it appears to be a scaled-down version of its predecessor, the changes go beyond mere dimensions. The most significant update is the support for back-connect motherboards, a feature that aligns perfectly with the case's core philosophy: achieving a clean, clutter-free PC build with minimal visible cabling.
Dimensions and Structural Refinements
The most obvious change is the shift from 140mm fan support to standard 120mm fans. This downsizing makes the case 19.4% smaller and 29.5% lighter, dropping the weight from 19kg to 15kg. Even with this reduction, the HS 360 VGPU remains a substantial chassis, especially considering it is shipped without any included fans.
The build quality remains a standout feature. The case incorporates the SimpliCable routing system for easier cable management and features an enhanced structural design. The UniSheet panoramic glass has also been refined with a 31.8% tighter bend radius. Additionally, the fan bracket has been updated to support rear fan installation, providing more flexibility for airflow configurations.
VGPU Features and Thermal Performance
The VGPU model includes an integrated magnetic Airflow Divider designed to optimize cooling for vertically mounted graphics cards. However, testing revealed that this divider offers negligible thermal benefits, suggesting it might be an unnecessary complication for the assembly process. On the positive side, the case handles high-heat components—such as the AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D and Palit RTX 5080 GameRock OC—exceptionally well, thanks to its ability to house 360mm AIO radiators on the top, side, and bottom.

While thermal performance is solid, some design choices are questionable. The lower rear fan mount in the VGPU model provides little to no cooling benefit, and the bracket placement can occasionally obstruct the RGB lighting of certain fans, potentially detracting from the visual experience.
Final Thoughts
The HAVN HS 360 VGPU is a premium, well-constructed chassis tailored for enthusiasts who prioritize aesthetics and modern motherboard standards. While the high price point and lack of included fans are notable drawbacks, the support for back-connect motherboards and the superior build quality make it a compelling choice for high-end, clean-looking builds.
- Pros: Superb build quality, excellent cable management, support for back-connect motherboards, optimized for mainstream 360mm coolers.
- Cons: High price without included fans, fiddly drive bay assembly, fragile glass components, redundant rear fan mounting in the VGPU model.
