Grounded 2's Biggest Update 'Into the Abyss' Adds Underwater World and PS5
Obsidian Entertainment has released Grounded 2's largest content update yet, titled 'Into the Abyss.' It introduces a completely new underwater layer to Brookhollow Park, featuring caverns, hidden points of interest, and dangerous creatures. The game is also officially launching on PlayStation 5.
A New Underwater World
The update expands Brookhollow Park beyond the shoreline. Players can dive beneath the surface of Skunk Pond to explore caverns and descend into the mysterious Abyss. New areas feature hidden discoveries, collectibles, and resources.

New Mechanics and Transport
Exploring deeper requires new diving gear that extends underwater time. The amphibious 'Toe Biter Buggy' returns as a vehicle for traversing both land and water.

Underwater Base and New Threats
Players can now build submerged outposts to expand their home into previously uninhabitable areas. Encounters include the amphibious 'Toe Biter', mechanical 'Catch 'N Kill' robots, and returning threats like the Diving Bell Spider.
