G2 Esports Recorded 62.4% Scrim Win Rate Under Perkz in LEC 2026 Summer
G2 Esports finished the LEC 2026 Summer Split with a 62.4% scrim win rate, according to statistics shared by general manager Romain Bigeard. The team played 170 scrim games, securing 106 wins and 64 losses during the first split with Luka "Perkz" Perković serving as head coach.
The statistics were released following G2 Esports' successful Summer Split campaign, which saw them secure their third European title of 2026 and the organization's 20th LEC championship. Romain Bigeard described the Summer Split as one of the riskiest periods for the team due to the coaching change, as Perkz replaced Dylan Falco. However, the new system proved effective, allowing the roster to adapt to the new leadership.
Throughout the scrims, G2 Esports maintained a positive record against nearly every opponent. Their only negative result came against Team Vitality, where they went 7-8 across 15 games. This trend did not translate to official matches, as G2 Esports defeated Vitality in the first round of the Summer Split playoffs.
Movistar KOI served as the team's most frequent scrim opponent. Over 34 games, G2 Esports achieved a 61.8% win rate (21 wins and 13 losses). The team later completed the sweep against MKOI with a 3:0 victory in the Summer Split Grand Final to claim the title.
The Summer Split victory completed G2 Esports' domestic Golden Road for 2026, having already won the previous two splits. The team now shifts its focus to Worlds 2026, where they will begin in the Swiss Stage on October 23. Following podium finishes at First Stand (2nd place) and MSI 2026 (4th place), the organization aims for a deep playoff run at the upcoming World Championship.
