FURIA to Exit VALORANT Main Stage in 2027
FURIA has announced that it will not compete in the main VALORANT competitive scene for the 2027 season. The organization made the decision following an assessment of the competitive landscape and the club's future strategic plans.
As a result, all players and coaching staff members will become free agents on November 2. The club expressed gratitude to the team for their collaboration and wished them success in their future endeavors. FURIA noted that it will continue to monitor the discipline's development and remains open to a potential return. The organization also promised to share its plans regarding the inclusive VALORANT scene in a separate announcement.
The move follows FURIA's failure to secure a spot in the VCT partnership program for the 2027 season. At that time, the club expressed disappointment with Riot Games' decision and stated it would evaluate the conditions of the new competitive system before deciding its future in the title.
