Fruitcupx steps down from NuTorious to take a break
Rifler Gavin "Fruitcupx" Norman is stepping down from NuTorious. The organization announced the departure on X, stating that the move was a mutual decision.
In a statement, Fruitcupx explained that he is stepping away from professional play to take a break. He cited a "rough" past year and the upcoming birth of his first child as the primary reasons for his decision to focus on personal life.
Since joining the team in July, the American rifler maintained a solid 1.15 rating over 34 maps in Counter-Strike 2. His 2026 has been marked by several roster changes, having played for teams such as BOSS and Festina Lente before finding a home with NuTorious.
The current NuTorious roster consists of Thomas "bones" Degenhardt, Cameron "cmrn" Longman, Andrew "Kermi" Cretella, and Nathaniel "neight" Bell.
