Fogpiercer Beginner Guide: Car Positioning and Chain Reactions
Your train composition defines more than durability: it also shapes the available deck.
Give the Convoy a Role
Judge a new car by the cards and interactions it adds. A collection of individually strong effects is weaker than a plan where attack, movement, and defense resolve in a useful order.
Identify cars that cannot be isolated and protect key modules.
Position Is Damage
Fogpiercer lets artillery push enemies and exploit terrain. Look beyond the largest card number: find the tile that sends a target into danger or another object.
Plan the Chain First
Chain reactions need sequence. Create the condition by moving a target or preparing an object, then trigger the main explosion. Preserve movement tools until a profitable line appears.
Between Battles
The train delivers cargo, gains upgrades, and changes its available tools. Choose rewards that solve a current weakness; rare effects without synergy are not automatically better.
