FINAL FANTASY XIV: Evercold delayed to February 2027
The Evercold expansion, arriving as patch 8.0 for FINAL FANTASY XIV, has been pushed back. Square Enix confirmed that the release is now scheduled for February 23, 2027, moving away from its original January 2027 window.
With the new release date, early access is set to begin on February 19, 2027. Players can prepare for the launch by pre-ordering the expansion starting November 4.
Square Enix also detailed the Collector’s Edition, which features a Reaper figure, an Ethos metal keychain, a Kottr mini plush, the “Tapestry of the Fourth,” and a special Evercold art box.
The expansion promises new content, including the Zephyr job and two new areas: Sessrymnir (Realmship of Earth) and Skioblaonir (Realmship of Wind). Additionally, a trailer for the “EVANGELION: Ghosts of Desire” collaboration was showcased.
