EVOS, Dewa United, Alter Ego Win at MPL Indonesia S18
EVOS, Dewa United Esports, and Alter Ego secured victories in the latest round of MPL Indonesia Season 18. EVOS defeated Bigetron by Vitality 2:1, while Dewa United Esports beat ONIC by the same score. Alter Ego completed the day with a 2:0 sweep of Geek Fam ID, leaving Team Liquid ID alone at the top of the regular-season standings.
Dewa United Esports improved to a 2–5 record with six points after their win over ONIC. ONIC dropped to 2–4, also holding six points, as both teams continue the regular season from the lower half of the standings.
EVOS recorded their third series victory of the season, moving to 3–3 with nine points. The result ended the 5–0 start of Bigetron by Vitality, who remain among the leaders at 5–1 with 15 points despite losing their unbeaten record.
Alter Ego reached a 4–2 record with 12 points and a +5 game differential after sweeping Geek Fam ID. Geek Fam ID remain without a series victory at 0–7, while Alter Ego hold fourth place in the standings.
MPL Indonesia Season 18 is taking place from August 14 to November as a LAN tournament. Teams are competing for a prize pool of around $275,000 and two slots at the M8 World Championship.
