Elite Upgrades Guide - Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced

Welcome, captains! If you want to turn your Jackdaw into the scourge of the Caribbean Sea in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, you will need the Ultimate Ship Upgrades.

In most cases, the locations have remained the same as in the original Black Flag, but several plans have changed their locations (and one has been hidden in a completely different place). To save you time, we have put together a complete guide to finding all 12 elite plans in the updated version of the game.

1. Elite Hull Armor (Hull Armor Ultimate Plan)

Location: San Ignacio Wreck (352, 744)

This upgrade is quite easy to find. Head to the coordinates and use the diving bell. Once underwater, swim to the farthest part of the location, where you will find a large treasure chest. The armor plan is inside.

2. Elite Round Shot (Round Shot Ultimate Plan)

Location: Kabah Ruins (738, 120)

You will need the diving bell again. Swim all the way to the end of the ruins. Be careful — a shark patrols this area! The chest containing the plan is waiting for you at the back of the location.

3. Elite Mortars (Mortars Ultimate Plan)

Location: Antocha Wreck (600, 636)

Dive underwater using the bell. Once at depth, head to the right side of the location and enter the shipwreck — that is where the chest containing the elite mortar plan is hidden.

4. Heavy Shot Damage (Heavy Shot Strength Ultimate Plan)

Map: Ambergris Key (30, 159)

Treasure: Misteriosa (270, 175)

Unlike in the original game, you do not need the bell to obtain the map at Ambergris Key. Look for the area with the torn shade sail, dive in, and swim through the long tunnel (there is a place to catch your breath halfway through). At the end, deal with the enemies and collect the map on the second floor of the ruins.

The map will lead you to Misteriosa Island (270, 175). Climb to the highest point (toward the synchronization point) and inspect the area to the left of the waterfall to dig up the plan.

5. Elite Swivels (Swivel Ultimate Plan)

Location: Devil's Eye Caverns (453, 331)

Use the diving bell. You will have a long swim ahead: keep to the right side and head north. The left (southern) tunnel is used only as an exit. Once you reach the correct point, climb onto dry land, where you will find the chest.

6. Elite Ram (Ram Ultimate Plan)

Location: La Concepcion Wreck (150, 272)

Dive using the bell. The chest is very close — simply swim due north from your dive point, and you will quickly discover the coveted plan.

7. Fire Barrel Damage (Fire Barrel Strength Ultimate Plan)

Map: Santanillas (191, 218)

Treasure: San Juan (454, 462)

The map can be found in the northeastern part of Santanillas, next to a skeleton.

The treasure is buried in San Juan. A diving bell is not required, but finding the entrance is tricky. Leave the ship away from the shore, swim to the small boat on the water, and dive straight down — you will see a blue glow pointing to the tunnel. Swim through it to reach a cave with enemies. The treasure is buried at the very beginning of the area (near the wooden scaffolding and ramp).

8. Heavy Shot Storage Capacity (Heavy Shot Storage Ultimate Plan)

Map: Cayman Sound (298, 311)

Treasure: Petite Caverne (864, 237)

Head to the northwestern part of Cayman Sound Island, toward the wreckage, to find the map.

The treasure itself is in Petite Caverne. In the center of the cave (after clearing it of enemies), you will see a campfire and a small waterfall. Go behind the waterfall to find the dig site.

9. Fire Barrel Storage Capacity (Fire Barrel Storage Ultimate Plan)

Map: Petite Caverne (864, 237)

Treasure: Tulum (40, 372)

Please note: this change is exclusive to Resynced! The map is now in Petite Caverne, right next to the skeleton. The treasure is buried in Tulum, directly in front of a pile of stone rubble.

10. Number of Broadside Cannons (Broadside Cannons Number Ultimate Plan)

Location: Blue Hole (437, 145)

Use the diving bell and swim to the farthest part of the underwater location. A chest containing the plans for the maximum number of cannons will be waiting there.

11. Mortar Storage Capacity (Mortar Storage Ultimate Plan)

Map: Tortuga (852, 352)

Treasure: Matanzas (304, 622)

The map is buried near a skeleton in northeastern Tortuga. The plan itself is hidden on Matanzas Island. Walk through the village and deeper into the island until you come across a waterfall — the treasure is buried directly behind it.

12. Elite Harpoon (Harpoon Strength Ultimate Plan)

Map: Mariguana Island (847, 514)

Treasure: Andreas Island (545, 693)

On Mariguana Island, squeeze through the gap in the rock — you will see a skeleton with the map on the left.

Head to Andreas Island. Go down to the southernmost point of the island (on the map); the plan will be buried behind two trees.
