Dplus KIA Comeback Against T1 as Gen.G Dominate Hanwha Life at Worlds 2026
The second round of the Worlds 2026 Swiss Stage has concluded. Gen.G Esports secured a convincing victory over Hanwha Life Esports, while Dplus KIA pulled off another comeback, this time against T1. Bilibili Gaming and Movistar KOI also joined the winners' circle.
Second Round Results
Gen.G Esports delivered one of the most dominant performances of the round, defeating Hanwha Life Esports 22-7 in just 29 minutes. By controlling the map and winning decisive fights, Gen.G moved into the 2-0 bracket, while HLE dropped to 1-1. Their next challenge will be against LYON for a spot in the Knockout Stage.
Dplus KIA secured their second comeback victory of the Swiss Stage by defeating T1. Much like their opening match against G2 Esports, DK struggled to keep pace for much of the game but successfully turned the tide in the late game to close out the series.
