Dota 2 Patch 7.41f: Nerfs for Lina, Bounty Hunter, and Lifestealer
Valve has released gameplay patch 7.41f for Dota 2. The update affects more than 30 heroes and introduces significant changes to item stats. Notable nerfs target Lina, Bounty Hunter, and Lifestealer, while Anti-Mage, Chen, Mars, and Ursa have received buffs.
The patch introduces several adjustments to the item economy. The total costs for Daedalus, Dragon Lance, Heart of Tarrasque, and Octarine Core have increased. Conversely, Heaven's Halberd is now more affordable, and the recipe for Hydra's Breath has been reduced. Additionally, lifesteal values for Mask of Madness and Satanic were lowered, and the Mjollnir Static Charge duration has been cut from 15 to 12 seconds.
Hero balance shifts see Lina losing base intelligence and a portion of her Fiery Soul attack speed bonus. Bounty Hunter faces a reduction in gold bounty from Track, alongside a complete rework of his level 20 and 25 talents. Lifestealer sees a cooldown increase on Rage and a reduction in Infest duration against enemies when using Aghanim's Scepter.
Other notable adjustments include nerfs to Shadow Fiend (regarding Necromastery and Shadowraze damage), Treant Protector, and Bane. On the positive side, Anti-Mage gains more damage from mana burn, and Ursa receives a buff to Maul damage.
The update also addresses various technical issues, including a fix for infinite HP regeneration from Power Treads and geometry bugs near the Roshan pit.
