Talent Producer: Gameplay Details of Disney Spark Link Stars
The studio coly has shared new details regarding their upcoming mobile game Disney Spark Link Stars for iOS and Android. With over 700,000 pre-registrations already secured, the project casts players as conductors managing talented performers across a vibrant archipelago.
The story is set within the Sparkle Islands, specifically on the central hub of Luminastea. This setting blends advanced technology with natural beauty, characterized by a unique map shaped like three interconnected circles. The lifeblood of the islands is Kirarium—energy particles created when human emotions and "sparks" of joy are absorbed by the magical Tail Tree.
The core gameplay revolves around managing teams of "Spark Riders"—performers who captivate audiences on stage. Players take on the role of a conductor at Studio Radia. A key feature is that the character teams are inspired by classic Disney works. For instance, the Endelore team draws inspiration from "Beauty and the Beast," featuring floral motifs and characters like Lise with distinct, deep personalities.
The gameplay loop consists of two main stages:
- Produce: A puzzle-solving mode where players match three or more identical objects to strengthen characters and obtain training materials.
- Spark Ride: A rhythm-based competition where players give instructions to performers and use skill cards to maximize scores and boost the audience's mood.
Additionally, the game features a social mechanic called Movaid, allowing players to interact with characters via chats and voice messages, as well as a Fan Cam Time! mode for taking and decorating photos of the performers with stickers.
The release of Disney Spark Link Stars is scheduled for November 4, 2026. The game will be available as a free-to-play title with in-app purchases.
