Digimon Story Time Stranger: How to Use Photo Mode and Digivolution Conditions
The July patch is best treated as a set of tools for team planning and better field moments.
Start With Digivolution Conditions
The Digivolution Conditions screen in Digifarm is the most practical part of the update. Use it as a planner: first check which requirements are already met, then decide which Digimon to train and what gaps to close.
That saves time because Digivolution stops being blind guessing. You see a direction before spending resources.
Photo Mode Is Not Only for Screenshots
Photo Mode during field exploration is useful beyond pretty images. It lets you pause and examine environments, party composition, and visual details that are easy to miss at normal pace.
If you take notes or share builds, Photo Mode is also a clean way to record your team and progress moments.
Terriermon Assistant
Playable Terriermon Assistant is a fan-facing addition, but treat it as atmosphere rather than a hidden power source. The official notes confirm availability, so do not assume unconfirmed bonuses.
Check how it fits your routine, but do not rebuild around speculation.
Graphics Mode on Switch 2
If you play on Nintendo Switch 2, choose the mode that fits your session. Quality Mode is listed as 4K HDR up to 30 FPS, while Performance Mode is Full HD up to 60 FPS. The option is not listed for Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series S, or Steam.
For long sessions, Performance may feel more comfortable; for calm exploration and screenshots, Quality can make sense.
