DELTARUNE continues to patch Chapter 5 stability issues.
DELTARUNE received Chapter 5 Version 0.0.243 hotfix on June 29, 2026. The developers described it as another small patch after several fixes for crashes and softlocks.
The fix list mentions a file-loading issue after losing to the chapter's final boss and later getting a game over, a crash in a room where Pink Coins can be spent, an attempted fix for a crash when lyrics appear onscreen, and a softlock when entering a room.
The patch does not add new content or restructure the chapter. Its practical goal is stability for players already moving through Chapter 5's later sequences.
