Daba: Land of Water Scar releases spring 2027
Daba: Land of Water Scar, an action RPG supported by the PlayStation China Hero Project, will launch for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam in spring 2027, according to newly revealed publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Dark Star.
The title makes its global debut following its announcement during a State of Play presentation on September 3, 2026. The game follows Adan, a Clayman who awakens in a world where the Sky-Pillars have collapsed and the waters have run dry. As Soul Fragments of fallen gods scatter across ruined snowfields and deserts, the shadow of the Purple Plague spreads, forcing Adan to navigate a destiny shaped by those who see him as a savior, a tool for ambition, or a destroyer.
Players will wield twin blades beneath an ancient mask, cutting through forced destiny and the hands that pull Adan's strings. The narrative centers on seizing water and reforging the soul, even in the face of shattering ruin, with the ultimate choice between being a god, a savior, or a destroyer left to the player's decision.
A new release window trailer is available to view, offering a look at the game's visual style and core mechanics ahead of its spring 2027 release.
